Well, if I'm not carrying around any Legendaries, than my team in Gold was normally this (however, my game reset on me today, so I have to start over... god, I'm mad):

I don't have a 'usual' team per se, as every time I play i try to use a different strategy, but last time, my team consisted of Umbreon, Skarmory, Lanturn, Meganium, Sandslash and Dragonair. I can't remember the movesets exactly, and i can't check as my GBA, and with it, my crystal cart, are MIA. O_o

-MEWLevel 100
-Hyper Beam
-Surf
-Softboiled
-Fly
Typlsion Level 98
-Flamethower
-Earthquake
-Cut
-?
I train amny pokemon for the pokedex. I always have an exp share on me.

Right now, my best Pokemon are my LV55 Feraligatr, my LV51 Ampharos, my LV45 Houndoom, my LV51 Snorlax, and I don't really have any good non-legendary flyers with me. Also, I just hatched an Egg with a Wooper that knows Body Slam, which i'm currently training.

Well, LegendTrainer's team remains to be fixed. It has too many flaws in it. However, I'm too tired today, so I won't offer any tips. My team...check 'em out @ Team Raitng.

Well, I'm starting to tamper with them. My Typhlosion now knows:
Flamethrower
Iron Tail
Thunderpunch
Dig
and is at Lv 66. Thanks to SwampertMaster for telling me a trick to battle Trainers over and over again. Even though he's too afraid to Mystery Gift me with that guy in my Party.

He may not want to waste the EQ TM on Typhlosion when there are other pokemon to use it on. I don't like sunny day. Granted, it boosts fire moves, but hey, by the time you waste a turn on sunny day, your enemy can pull a move you'd never expect and flatten you.  Plus, Dig has the advantage of making one pretty much invulnerable for a turn (unless he's EQd into submission during that digging period).
Overall, I like this moveset. (nods)

Thanks. Actually, I'd have taken out Dig for Earthquake in a heartbeat, but I had already used it. Normally, I clone TM's b4 I use 'em, but I forgot when i did that one... I'm starting to tamper with the whole team. It's almost done, but my new plans are posted on the first thread. I got rid of Murkrow and am using my new Dragonite to fly. I'm now using an Electabuzz that I got through my new Elekid Egg.
PS: For a long time, my goal was to get a max-stat Lv 100 Typhlosion. this time, I think I can do it. I remember I always used to go for STAB bonuses over varied type move lineups. I've learned to change that.

I like to change my team slightly every time I start a new game, but here was the one I had this summer. (I barely have time to play during the school year, poor me XD) This was the first time I tried raising dragonite all the way, and the moveset isn't exactly the best...
Typhlosion
-Earthquake (I doubled the TM. ^_^)
-Thunderpunch
-Flamethrower
-Swift (eh... any suggestions here? -_-)
Dragonite
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Flamethrower
-Fly (wing attack would be prefered, but I need a flier on my team)
Umbreon (duh)
-Moonlight
-Faint Attack
-Psychic
-Quick attack (I was originally going to have a toxic/meanlook combo, but I changed my mind...)

-flash (for mt. silver)
-mud slap (eh... o.o; )

-waterfall or whirlpool, whatever I need at the moment.

I think I'm going to substitute something else for Golduck, and get a tyranitar for my next game.. but then again you can't catch larvitar till the end... never mind, new stategy.... *thinking* -.-
